Popcorn Fundraiser

We need a few good volunteers to man our tables at the ACME store in Parkesburg and at the WAWA store at the intersection of Routes 10 and 30. The troop will be selling Trail’s End popcorn directly to the public. Call or see Mr. Murphy to sign up.

We will have several types of popcorn available:

Butter Favor Microwave Popcorn, Chocolate Caramel Crunch, and Caramel Corn with Peanuts, Gourmet Caramel Corn with Almonds & Pecans.

Some of the popcorn comes in decorative tins They make great gifts for the Holidays. Scouts may also take orders for popcorn ‘til Oct. 23rd. These orders will be available by November 13th.

 

Williamsburg and Busch Gardens

October 20th to 22nd

The cost of the trip is $74.00 for scouts and 88.50 for adults. The cost covers food, transportation, and admission to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. All scouts must bring their uniforms to wear at Colonial Williamsburg. We plan to spend Friday at Colonial Williamsburg, Saturday at Busch Gardens. The money and the permission slip must be turned in by Monday, October 9th.

 

The troop will meet at the church on Friday morning, Oct 20th, at 7:00 AM. All those going should pack a lunch for Friday. Parents must make arrangements to have their son excused from school. We will return home from Williamsburg on Sunday, October 22nd. Parents must pick their sons up at the Dutchman’s parking lot at 5:00 PM.

Boy Scout Food Drive

The Troop and the Pack will be distributing the food collection bags on Saturday morning November 11th . We will start at 10:00 AM at the American Legion. On November 13th the Troop and the Pack will meet again at the American Legion at 10:00 AM to start collecting the food bags.

 

New York City Trip Dec. 2, 2000

The scouts have elected to take a day trip to the Big Apple, New York City. If there are enough interested scouts and others who would like to go, the troop will rent a bus. The cost is estimated between $20.00 and $30.00 per family member The deadline for signup is October 23rd. A $15.00 deposit is due when you signup.

 

High Adventure - August 11th to 25th

Algonquin Provincial Park

In August of 2001, Troop 20 is planning to go Canada’s Algonquin Provincial Park for some canoeing, camping, awesome scenery and cool wildlife. Those scouts wanting to go must have:
